25 take part in bowling tourney


03 January 2020    Twenty-five former students of St Joseph Secondary School, here participated in St Joseph 9 Pin Tap Bowling Tournament 2019 at Megalanes EMart Bowling Centre, Batu Kawa here recently.

St Joe raises RM2.5 mln


29 July 2019    KUCHING: St Joseph`s School (SJS) Mill Hill Block Restoration Fund has raised a total of RM2.5 million from the support of the Sarawak government, annual dinners and contributions from the public.

We had a meeting with the Finance Minister and the Committee and Board
of SMK St Joseph, Kuching last Friday to discuss about the ongoing
campaign to raise fund to the Save Mill Hill Project to restore abd repair
the historical Mill Hill Block in St Joseph.

St Joe old boys compete against young ones

KUCHING: St Joseph`s Old Boys Association (OJA) had their annual Back To School Games 2019 between the present and old boys at the school yesterday morning.

OJA president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Minister of Local Government and Housing, officiated at the opening of the event.

Kidney patient receives donation from St Joseph`s class of `77 schoolmates


30 May 2019    Fifty-nine-year-old kidney patient Awang Romawi Awang Mais received a special visit from his classmates of St Joseph`s School class of 1977, including Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

The Back To School Games is BACK!


29 May 2019    The games played are Badminton, Futsal, Ping Pong and Basketball. There are three teams, namely the SJS, SJPS and the Old Boys. The event is held on the 15 June, Saturday from 7.45am- 10.00am at SMK St Joseph. Ex- Josephians are most welcomed to join in the fun.

Old Josephians all set to host third `Ora Et Labora Run`


04 May 2019    The Old Josephians Association (OJA) Kuching is organising the third consecutive `Ora Et Labora Run` themed `Save Mill Hill`, slated for July 27 this year.

KUCHING: Former Josephians are called upon to contribute generously towards the restoration of the old Mill Hill Block of SMK St Joseph here.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Old Josephians` Association (OJA) president, said the block is in need of urgent restoration after parts of the building - where classrooms are located - were declared unsafe due to serious cracks.

Class of 58 of St Joseph`s School meet after 60 years


10 October 2018    KUCHING: Sixty years after finishing their Form 5 and having sat for the Senior Cambridge examinations at St Joseph`s School here, 11 classmates of the class of `58 attended a reunion dinner at a local restaurant here last Sunday.
