22 August 2020 The Mill Hill Block at SMK St. Joseph, Kuching will undergo an extensive restoration over a period of 7½ months to restore the buildings to its former glory. YB Dato` Sri Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian, the Sarawak Minister of Local Government & Housing (the current president of the Old Josephians` Association) was at the school to witness the hand-over of the site to the appointed contractor, Fook Seng Construction, by the Acting Chairman of the St Joseph`s School Board |
19 March 2020 The Old Josephians` Association (OJA) responded to an ernest request for bursary support for a Form Six student at SMK St Joseph. It`s President YB Dato Sri Prof Sim Kui Hian who is also Minister of Local Government and Housing handed over a RM6,000/= cheque to the school principal Henry Chai in conjunction with the Josephian Day on Friday 13th March 2020. |

five schools in Kuching for common activities on the grounds of SMK St
Joseph and St Joseph`s Private School. |
