KUCHING: SMK St Joseph Kuching reclaimed its place among the local rugby elite after emerging champions in the just concluded Sarawak Premier School Rugby Championship. The feat was achieved after the school won two matches in the three-cornered fight against SMK St Thomas Kuching and SMK Sacred Heart Sibu.
The biannual championship held at Song Kheng Hai Field saw St Joseph beat St Thomas 63-5 and Sacred Heart 36-21 in the final day match on Thursday. Sacred Heart brought back the first runner-up trophy to Sibu after winning against St Thomas 42-10.
