The Old Josephians` Association, Kuching organised a career guidance talk as part of their activities to create awareness among the St. Joseph`s School students in fifth and sixth forms regarding the several professions as career paths. The marathon of talks were held on the 17 October, Saturday from 9am to 12 noon in the Lecture Room.
Each speaker spoke about 30 minutes on the requirements of qualifications and personality for each career. Ar Andy Ngu spoke on Architecture , IR Edison Lim Kim Seng and Jason Yeo shared their knowledge and experience on Engineering, Dr Alan Fong expounded on Medicine while MS Eleanor Shim C.A and Ms Elizabeth Voong explained the expectations in the Accountancy profession and takes to be an accountant. After the talks, the speakers had personal consultation sessions with interested students. Thereafter, light refreshments were served at the canteen for all.
