KUCHING: St Joseph’s Old Boys Association (OJA) had their annual Back To School Games 2019 between the present and old boys at the school yesterday morning.
OJA president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Minister of Local Government and Housing, officiated at the opening of the event.
The champions for badminton were students from SMK St Joseph’s combined with St Joseph`s Private School, while futsal was won by students from SMK St Joseph’s.
The old boys were the champions in tennis and basketball.
Dr Sim encouraged ex Josephians to visit their alma mater and reminded current students to come back and support activities of the school.
One of the activities is the restoration of SJS Mill Hill block, which was declared unsafe for use by Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching a few years ago.
